Backstabbing and manipulation is nothing new on Game Of Thrones, but the upcoming seventh season could result in stark betrayal!

At least, that’s what Sophie Turner hinted might happen with Jon Snow and Sansa Stark!

In a new interview, the actress said Season 7 will see a number of beloved characters uniting and reuniting, just like Sansa and Jon’s heartwarming reunion last season.

Speaking to TheWrap, she teased:

"It really feels like everyone is coming together. It’s coming to a conclusion and people are forming alliances with other characters, maybe that they’ve seen before, maybe that they haven’t. There are definitely a few reunions happening this season — or unions. There were a few that I’m quite excited about."

While this could mean the formation of new power couples — #Sanerys and #Jonleesi already come to mind — it can also mean new opportunities for characters to stab each other in the back!

The biggest of those betrayals, however, may already be in motion. Last season, Sansa went behind Jon’s back to enlist Petyr Baelish’s help with the Knights of the Vale and saved Jon from losing the Battle of the Bastards.

With Littlefinger still pulling the strings and Sansa’s envious glances as her bastard brother was declared King in the North in the finale, things in Winterfell might not be as stable as they seem.

Turner confirmed our suspicions of a potential blowup when speaking on Jon and Sansa’s relationship, noting:

"I, personally as Sophie, think they would be a perfect sort of collaboration because he’s the military man and she’s the politician. Together they’re quite a strong team as long as they listen to each other, and that’s their problem; they don’t quite work well together yet. But on paper it’s perfect."

Okay, that seemed optimistic — until Turner went on to describe some of Sansa’s unresolved frustrations, adding:

"From Sansa’s perspective, she really feels like she would like the recognition that she deserves because at the end of the day, she did save the day at the Battle of the Bastards."

Hmm… sounds like there might be trouble in Winterfell after all!

Do YOU think Sansa will betray Jon next season?
